Lindsey graduated with her Dental Assisting diploma in 2006 and has since completed an Expanded Functions Dental Assisting course. She worked in banking temporarily and is now on the dental scene. She works in our front office as an Office Assistant/Treatment Plan Coordinator and enjoys helping patients understand and feel comfortable about the dental and financial aspects of their treatment.
She loves to spend time with her husband Ian and her daughter, Ivy Jean. Lindsey passes her time by running her own jewelry business called Jacob Street Studios. She also likes to read, exercise, and watch movies, sew, decorate, sing on the worship team at her church and hang out with family and friends.
Andy is a 1999 graduate of the University of Northern Iowa in Social Science Teaching. He taught high school American History and Psychology and coached tennis in Blaine, Minnesota for 6 years. Since the opening of the office in September 2005, Andy has served as the office manager at Grove & Platt Dental Associates, P.L.C.
He, his wife, Dr. Jennifer Grove, and their daughter, Gabriella (Gabby) reside in Grimes. He enjoys living in Grimes and spending time with his family and friends and fishing. He has enjoyed learning the lingo of dentistry, meeting the wonderful patients, and working with the family-in-law...mother-in-law (Debbie Platt), father-in-law (Dr. Mark Platt), brother-in-law (Dr. Matt Platt), and sister-in-law (Betsy Platt)...honestly :)
Betsy enjoys her few hours away from being a mommy of three working with her husband, Dr. Matt, and rest of the family at the office!
Betsy grew up in Iowa City and is a 2001 business economics grad from the University of Iowa. She has her masters in education and taught high school business before children. She loves to spend time with her family, crafts, volunteering in her children's schools and spending time with friends.
Debbie has worked in the dental field for 23 years. She and her husband, Dr. Mark Platt, worked together to develop the dental practice in Ogden, Iowa. During the years she has enjoyed being involved in her husband's business and being a mom.
Her two children are now grown and married, but she has stepped into a new delight -- being a grandma. Her hobbies include her church, cooking, gardening and friends. Debbie is looking forward to helping develop the Grimes dental office and getting to know the people here.
Cindy has worked in the dental field for over 20 years. She graduated from Des
Moines Area Community College with a degree in Dental Assisting and we are very
fortunate to have her working in the front office in Madrid. Cindy is not only
the warm welcoming face, she is also the wheel to keep everything moving for us
with all of her knowledge!
Cindy and her husband, Chris, live in Slater and have 2 children Katie, Jake and
a dog Max. In her free time, Cindy loves scrapbooking, sewing, boating,
and spending time with her family and friends.
