Dr. Rachel Reis

Dr. Rachel Reis is a 2007 graduate of the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. She was originally inspired to go to dental school by her grandfather, Benny Hawkins, who is a retired Periodontist from the University of Iowa. Practicing general dentistry has been very rewarding for Dr. Reis. She was born and raised in Iowa City, which makes her a huge Hawkeye fan! Moving to the greater Des Moines area and working in Grimes has been an enjoyable and easy transition because she feels at home in the office and community.

Dr. Reis and her husband Jim enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling, watching Iowa sports, walking her dogs, as well as golfing and fishing with her husband. Dr. Reis has been a wonderful addition to our office. Since joining us in 2007, patients and staff have truly welcomed her into the family. From all of us here at Grove and Platt Dental Associates, we are glad to have her here!
